Beautiful game!!! Lots of fun and so original. I dont know about the former 19.99$ price tag, but now its totally worth it!! Its a must play game from the App Store!

This game is the spiritual successor to Commander Keen which is the highest praise I can give it. It functionally operates a lot like Keen. And the 3D graphics are as good as WoW. The physics is excellent (reminds me of Half Life 2), And I got it for $1.99?!?! Keep in mind its really only a 2D game in terms of player movement. Im not sure how many levels it has yet but it seems to be quite a few. If you liked Keen, (and who didnt?) get this game. Still not as fun as Keen, perhaps because it takes itself too seriously. I guess pogo sticks dont fit in the Wizard realm.

Usually I do not complete a game, but I did this one ! it is GREAT ! , I was not sure about buying it because I do not usually like the "right / left" only movement in games, but this games actually feels 3d, so the constraint is no felt. Amazing graphics, no hickups.

Trine is an over all amazing game, great graphics, great gameplay, there is really no reason not to like it HOWEVER do NOT try to play with a trackpad!

A very solid game with fast gameplay, believable characters, and a great replay value. Buy it now while its 90% off- I promise you, you WILL NOT regret it- it runs amazingly smooth on my 2010 base-hardware 13" pro.

This game is amazing. I have Trine 2 and was planning on getting this after I finished. With the 90% off sale its a must buy. I have a 2010 MacBook and it works smoothly and looks beautiful. If you like fantasy or sidescrollers then this is a must buy.

Very enjoyable adventure with excellent game play (I especially love the theif). Love the fact that there are often several different ways / combinations to solve problems with the three characters. Graphics are very well done and a lot of fun. The night and underwater scenes are spectacular. Who could resist a beautiful female theif shooting flaming arrows at skeletons?

Fun game, there are easy/med/hard settings too so it adjusts according to your tastes. Skills, equip items, three characters, and bought for $0.99, its a really good deal. I want to play Trine 2 but not willing to spend $15 on a app game.

Play this on my 2011 iMac. The art style and brilliantly colourful graphics are outstanding. The game itself is quite a bit of fun and has a good deal of depth. You freely switch between a wizard, thief, and warrior who have vastly different skillsets but each need to be used in conjunction with each other to complete tasks and puzzles. The puzzles are usually physics based and leave room for a great deal of creativity. You can probably complete most puzzles many different ways depending on how you leveled up your characters. There are light RPG elements that are extremely simplistic but add an extra amount of strategy and depth to an already engaging game. Great buy.

Overall, it is a really addicting game.However, it doesnt work well when it is not in fullscreen. The app is too large to fit on my screen when it is not in fullscreen

Glad I bought this on discount. I feel it’s a little too short for $9.99 but I’m sure other companies would charge even more for that. I generally don’t like action kind of games, but I do like the somewhat basic problem solving in this game, etc. The physics was a bit fun. Decent graphic work too. Oh yes, and the dev’s support was great. I believe I got a reply back within 24 hours… when I was confused why I didn’t see a save feature. Turns out it’s all auto-save so you don’t have that option in the menus, and you need to complete the levels in order for the save to kick in, so no in-between level saves unless you get Trine 2.

What a scam! On a macbook pro retina, the game loads up but none of the resolutions are supported for the retina. Any resolution is either too small or too big to be playable. For shame! Waste of money ** UPDATE ** - you need to disable the “Automatic Graphics Switching” option in System Preferences > Energy Saver in order to play the game in full-screen mode. Once you do this, it should work properly. Changed rating from 1 star to 4 star because of it

Seems that apple is up to their same tricks and promote a fantastic game in the App Store, only to pull the rug from under you by not having the app run in El Cap. It loads without any sound and then locks up the machine so your only way out is to pull the power plug. I hope the developer decideds to update the code (or library calls) to get it working again. I did love this game and would give it 5 stars if it worked, it clearly deserves it.

The quality is great, but the bad thing is that u cant open other applications while ur playing this game.

Keyboard does not react, simply not working (exept spacebar-jump). Please, FIX it.
